Student Teaching Abroad

A few weeks ago I was informed that I would be allowed to complete my student teaching experience abroad. If you can imagine I was thrilled beyond belief! Traveling the world is something I have ALWAYS longed to do. Now that I am at the age where my life passion and career are coming together, it truly is a beautiful thing. Once I found out that I would be able to student teach abroad, I began researching the places I thought I would enjoy. Spain is the reoccurring destination that keeps springing into my mind. When I was in the 5th grade I completed a project all about Spain. I fell in love with the idea of visiting Spain back then. All of my friends have decided to travel to Italy for study abroad, Spain simply just spoke to me.
I had my meeting a few weeks ago with Dr. Carter. It honestly could not have gone any better. I throughly enjoy talking about my passion for teaching. It is the one thing in life that really keeps me going. I am beyond passionate about teaching I truly believe that it is my calling. I have never loved anything as much as I love teaching in front of a classroom of eager students. I also love learning, I love to learn new things, I love to connect with people, I love education. I love children, everything about them. Children are the NOW and the FUTURE. They are so innocent and true, they want to please you and they also want to learn (for the most part). I want to instill within my students that love for learning. When you strive to learn you also in part become a better version of yourself.
I can not WAIT to keep everyone updated and informed about my journeys to come. There is so much to be thankful for and to look forward to. My cup truly runneth over, to have these opportunities is a wonderful blessing. It is AMAZING what you can accomplish when you set your mind and your heart to something.
